ITINERARY

Pick up from Chan May port in Hue at 8.00AM, drive along the most beautiful coastline, stopover picturesque Hai Van Pass (Cloudy Pass) to Hoi An town. After a brief introduction, our guide will first take you for a visit to the Hoi An central market. This place gathers all the daily needs for local people. Just wander around for sightseeing of local people buying and selling goods and take pictures of local activities.

Why not sit down and try some of real local snacks such as ‘che’ – sweet been soup with coconut milk, local cakes and so on that you cannot find in any local restaurants.

Continue your visit to some of ancient public buildings and assembly halls to learn about the history and culture diversity of the place. With typical decoration and worshiping figures, each place like that tell you the origin of different groups of people when they came to this land. Drop in one of private ancient houses and get introduced about the typical decoration and the traditional motif of Hoi An houses as well as to learn about the family who leave there.

Continue your walk along the river front for sightseeing and catch with scenes of local life happens on the water and visit to the 17th century Japanese covered bridge, the symbol of Hoi An. Visit to the Hoi An museum to learn about the history of the land then continue through small alley to visit back streets of Hoi An with traditional houses and local family where you can observe people making traditional handicrafts such as lantern, fans and so on.

Go further to visit to a family temple to learn about traditional practice of ancestor worshipping and then an ancient pagoda of Hoi An.

You are taken into a special restaurant for you to enjoy lunch with one of local specialty: Hoi An roll before free to do shopping around the ancient town, where gathered the most talent tailors and colorful lanterns. The tour ends around 5PM at your ship.
