Pick up from hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang at 8.30AM for more than one hour stunning drive through rural landscape to My Son.

The archaeological and world heritage site of My Son located within a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains and forest in Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam Province, about more than 40km from Hoi An.

From the 4th to the 14th century AD, the valley My Son was a site of religious ceremony for kings of the ruling dynasties of Champa, as well as a burial place for Cham royalty and national heroes. At one time, the site encompassed over 70 temples as well as numerous stele bearing historically important inscriptions in Sanskrit and Cham.

Together with the fade of the Champa kingdom, My Son also left forgotten until 1898 and some restoration was made within 1930’s and 1940’s. Unfortunately, part of the site was destroyed by bombs during the war.

The remains of dozens towers and sanctuaries show you the fascinating art and special technique people used to build this place.

After attending a traditional Champa dance and music performance you will take a wander through the ruins for sightseeing and to learn about the place. Delve deep into the intriguing history of the land and kingdom as well as discover the story behind each of the towers. Enjoy chances of photo shot then visit the small museum with Champa artifacts before heading back to Hoi An or Danang. Tour finishes at around 13.30PM.
