Just two hours drive from Hanoi, the Cuc Phuong National park contains in it many surprises for tourists and nature lovers. The trip will bring you to the embrace of the nature as it has been for thousands of years, away from busy life in the city. You will have a chance to mingle yourself into the wild, get close to the nature and explore one of the most stunning tropical rainforest and national park in the country. Meet the furry faced monkeys at Primate Center, trek through the three-canopy dense forest, admire thousand years old trees and inhale the 100% pure fresh air.

You will get picked up from your hotel around 8am for a 2,5 hours scenic drive along the Red River Delta on the Highway I to Ninh Binh. Arrive in Cuc Phuong National park; you will first have a visit to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center where special monkeys of many kinds rescued from illegal trading and hunting are cared in the manmade shelters and semi wild. Learn something about these beautiful animals and the work of scientists and biologist here.

Next door is the Turtle Conservation Center where you will see and learn about different kinds of turtle in Vietnam and the world.

Continue to drive into the National Park centre and on the way you will take a stop to visit to the Cave of Prehistoric Man, a site that left with relics of human from thousands of years ago.

Have lunch in the restaurant before you start a more than 2 hours trek through the jungle.

This National Parks, covering an area of 220 square kilometers on the lime stone mountain area of three provinces: Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa, is the largest and foremost national park in the country and is home to a huge diversity of flora and fauna system. The 6 km light trek will bring you through the core of the park where you will see many special tropical plants including huge creeping plants, strangler trees and thousand years old trees some reach up to nearly hundred meters as well as different types of small animals and insects.

Back to the Park’s centre at around 3.30PM and after a short break you will take your drive back to Hanoi. Trip ends in Hanoi at 6.00PM.
