Muong ethnic culture (1 day)

Located in Hoa Binh province, Giang Mo village nestles under the green of mountains, forests and rice fields. The peaceful village is home to just only 100 Muong households who mainly living by farming. The highlight that makes the village attractive to travellers is old stilts shaped similar to turtles. The peaceful space in the village of Muong people is an ideal place to admire the unspoiled beauty and the fresh green of scenery and retain traditional lifestyle.

08:00am: Start from your hotel, after two hour drive, we will reach Hoa Binh city. Welcome by the villagers at Mo Village, Binh Thanh commune. Brief introduce about this typical Muong Village, then walk in the village, visit some families, interacting and talking with the villagers to understand more about their life and customs.

Then take one hour and a half boat trip (optional - only when water level permitted) on the Da Rive Lake for more sightseeing. Back to the village for lunch, and enjoy, drink wine in jar through bamboo tube. Your last stop before returning back to Hanoi is the museum of Muong Cultural Space to study more about this land, people and cultural values. Arrive at your hotel around 05:30pm.
