Day 1: HANOI – SAPA – TOPAS ECO-LODGE

Depend on your request, the trip will starting from hotel in Hanoi or Noi Bai airport. Your tour guide picks you up at meeting point and transfer 5hours directly to Sapa following highway.
Upon arrival Sapa town, take a rest with cup of coffee then driving descent into the Muong Hoa valley, seeing the fantastic scenery of mountains and rice paddies along. Leaving Sapa town behind you, make a turn and follow a dirt road to the Black H’mong ethnic minority village of Lao Chai and thence to a village inhabited by the Giay ethnic minority. Pause to explore the Giay village continue ride along the valley to Topas Ecolodge. On arrival at the lodge, check in your bungalow and enjoy the spectacular valley views and sunset from the top of mountain.

Day 2: FULL DAY VILLAGES TREKKING – SAPA TOWN

Wake up among misty and marvelous sunrise, enjoy your breakfast at open-terrace restaurant then check out the lodge.

At 9h00 you begin hike to the Red Dao ethnic minority village of Lech. You follow the road for a while before descending towards a river. Walking through rice paddy terraces gives you many opportunities to enjoy the magnificent valley view. Cross the river by a stone bridge and then follow a trail up to the village where you may experience daily life and learn how the women in their doorways do their traditional embroidery. From here, take the car into Sapa town. Check in hotel and have lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon: Free at you leisure to stroll in charming Sapa town with French architecture, Church, peaceful alley and bustle local market. Overnight at hotel in Sapa town.

Day 3:EXPERIENCE GORGEOUS BEAUTIES & CULTURE

Have breakfast at hotel then transferred to Heaven’s Gate (Tram Ton Pass), the highest mountain pass in Vietnam. From Tram Tron Pass you have a bird’s-eye view of the breath-taking Muong Hoa valley, where you have trekked yesterday. The trails takes you through green field, lush forest under rustling leaves, blooming azalea flower and golden stream to fabulous Waterfall of Love – the paradise for you to enjoy cool air, poetic scenery and privacy together. Heading back Sapa town for your own lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon, take a light trek down hill to visit Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H’mong people located in a beautiful valley against the wall of Fansipan mountain. The trek provides a great chance to see, meet and talk with local and to drop in to learn about their life and traditions. It is the chance for interesting local interaction and to fill up your album with beautiful photos. Overnight at hotel in Sapa town.

Day 4: EXPLORE COLOURFUL HILL-TRIBE MARKET – RETURN HANOI

Have breakfast then check out hotel, depart to weekly hill-tribe market. The market varies according to day of the week (check the schedule below). Each is located in the surrounding mountainous area, 70 – 90 km from Lao Cai. Each market is colourful; the various nearby ethnic groups gather at the local market not only to trade in local products but also to meet friends and family at this special social event. If you want to buy some interesting souvenir and not mind to taste some local specialties, it is chance to do that at friendly, open-air market.

Enjoy lunch at local restaurant then return Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi around 6pm.

• Deposit and Payment: 30% of total invoice should be deposit at the time of confirmation for guarantee. Balance should be paid on arrival date.
• Cancellation: If cancelling less than 15 days, the deposit is non-refundable. After final payment is received a cancellation fee of approximately 75% applies. This percentage may be less depending on the date of cancellation. A cancellation fee of 100% is applicable within 03 days of travel.
• Pricing: All prices are shown in American dollars and are current at the date of printing this itinerary. If there is a dramatic fluctuation in the exchange rate or the price of services provided, which are beyond the control of Ciao Travel, Ciao Travel reserves the right to adjust tour prices accordingly, even though the balance of payment may have been made. This would only happen in unusual circumstances.

• Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend you organize travel insurance before departure in your country. Insurance covers cancellation fees payable for airline tickets, accommodation, loss of deposit, luggage etc.
• Clients’ Responsibilities: It is your responsibility to obtain passports, health certificates or other travel documents where required for the tour. It remains your responsibility to ensure that these documents are in order and to meet any additional costs incurred as a result of failure to comply with such requirements. It is also your responsibility to obtain any vaccinations that may be required to travel.
